Design : Target Audience

Thumbing through the East Bay Express a few weeks ago, an advertisement for the new Camel cigarette (No. 9) fell out. The packaging is clearly designed for a specific market. The design of the packaging even mimics the color palette, name and typography of another type of product. Whose product is this and who is the target audience? Upload an image of it and compare and contrast the advertising, audience and purpose of these two products.

The only other packaging design I can think of that has the similar look and feel would be Chanel No.5. Chanel and Camel look like similar words with the "C" and the "L" at both ends and the "No.9" is so much alike with Chanel's "No.5". Chanel's target audience is more for elderly sophisticated women and I believe that they are who Camel is targeting as well. The really strong black and pink, though is questionable, because the hot pink seems more eye catching for teenage girls. Camel might be trying to hit 2 birds with one stone.
